Performance Storytelling Repertoire
From the British Isles - From the mountains to the sea, with wild magic, lovestruck maidens + vengeful ghosts! Plus rarely heard adventures of King Arthur, and Chloë's signature piece - the thrilling Legend of the Rollright Stones.
From mainland Europe, Africa, the Americas and Australasia, from Thailand, China and Japan Chloë offers a rich multi cultural mix of stories. She draws on 30 years of work and travel to give you authentic detail - rain on a hot road, the buzz of night insects, spices on ocean winds...
New work - Short stories adapted for performance, in collaboration with acclaimed modern authors. Original tales drawing on modern themes - urban myths, big cats, even UFOs. What are the tales for our time? The legends for our future? Chloë's latest shows explore this rich source of ideas.
Whether creating new material or creatively retelling grand old yarns, Chloë’s work is powered by love and respect for the stories and their heritage.
